Social Media Specialist + Content Creator


Full-Time Opportunity

We’re searching for a creative yet strategic Social Media + Content Creator to join our growing team!

Your core goal? To build, engage and interact with our loyal social media community by publishing gorgeous content.

This is an exciting opportunity that allows you to unleash your creativity while sharpening your exceptional strategic mind to help drive our broader digital marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social Media + Content Creation
  • Work collaboratively with the Director to develop and deliver social media strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement and build upon our current loyal brand following.

  • Generate fresh content ideas to engage with our current audience and build our digital community.

  • Schedule and post daily organic social media content across all social media channels.

  • Writing catchy & on-brand captions to accompany social media posts.

  • Fill content gaps by creating/sourcing high-quality content. For example, photographing product flatlays, sourcing lifestyle imagery, designing inspirational quotes, producing reels/TikToks, behind the scenes content.

  • Interacting with our loyal Facebook and Instagram communities by replying to comments and engaging in conversations.

  • Hashtag research and competitor analysis to keep ahead of the game!

  • Managing the social media calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing calendar by incorporating key marketing strategies and sales campaigns.

  • Assist in developing and refining broader digital marketing strategies and exploring new initiatives and ideas aligned with our broader marketing strategies.

  • Reporting on social media/online activity to the wider business on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, providing regular insights and recommendations. For example, what types of creative are most engaging, what areas of opportunity exist, what do you need from the team to execute your content plan.

Influencer / Brand Collaborations
  • Research like-minded, complementary brands we can collaborate with, in cross-promotional giveaways.
  • Coordinate brand collaborations, including timings, creative and content.
  • Undertake Influencer outreach by sourcing new influencers and faces to represent our brand.
  • Coordinating and managing all social influencer partnerships & strategies including writing influencer creative briefs and organising gifted products.
  • Creating supporting content during the photoshoot, for example, by filming behind the scenes videos and sharing updates on our social media channels, particularly instagram story content.
  • Pre-planning to film short video pieces to further promote and build on our current hype-building strategy. For example, filming a close up of each product feature like the fabric or other details and cutting a short 15-30sec video to post alongside the photo content.
  • Upload product images to product listings
  • Write engaging product descriptions including model info and about the fit.
  • Update website slider image in alignment with new product releases
  • Add products into relevant collections and sort products so they’re visually appealing when scrolling through the collection page.
Ad Hoc
  • Work closely with our advertising agency and other key stakeholders to supply content as required.
  • Work closely with all Moolk employees to build and maintain internal relationships and company culture, obtain input and welcome content ideas to help promote the team and business ‘vibe’ to our broader community.

About You

  • A natural creative with a sharp, strategic mind who can hit the ground running.
  • Strong experience using Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest platforms.
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, particularly Adobe Illustrator + Photoshop or Lightroom.
  • Basic DSLR camera skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a deadline-driven environment, to think on your feet and adapt quickly.
  • Innovative and not afraid to test out-of-the-box ideas or seek new ways of doing things. Creativity and innovation are welcomed and encouraged.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role (essential).
  • A love of fashion and supporting women and mothers!

Customer Care + Operations Assistant

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that will see you contribute to the smooth running of our front- and back-end operations, including pick-packing and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service
  • Proactively responding to and managing all customer enquiries via our Customer Service Platform, including live web chat, emails and social media enquiries.

  • Work closely with the Design team to learn the fit and sizing recommendations to give our customers the best possible fit advice when needed.

  • Provide customers with accurate information about our products and policies in a friendly and down-to-earth manner.

  • Process all customer returns daily.

  • Build long-lasting customer relationships to enhance and create a memorable brand experience.

  • Other ad-hoc administration duties as required.

  • Pick and pack orders with finesse and attention to detail to reach daily targets.
  • Upholding the high quality our customers expect from our garments by meticulously quality controlling incoming goods.
  • Assisting with inventory management of stock in the warehouse.
  • Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation.
  • Undertaking periodic stock checks.
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

About You

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for the fashion industry + helping new mums
  • High attention to detail
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when needed
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous
  • Ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
  • Strong computer skills
